I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is dedicated to providing compassionate care and customizing a balanced plan for your mental wellness. My goal is to help you attain your “best self” by individualizing care plans to reach specific goals. This includes holistic and evidence based medication management and providing wellness coaching for preventative care. Life is busy and sometimes you feel there’s not enough time in the day to take care of yourself. How can you afford to add one more thing to your plate? My practice philosphy is to incorportate a comprehensive approach with therapeutic interventions, medications and supplements, diet and lifetyle modifications in a convenient manner that doesn’t feel like one more thing for you to check off your to-do list. Having a holistic approach allows us to find balance between interventions that work specifically for you. I see you as a whole person and view mental health issues from a variety of lenses to ensure I understand all aspects before we jump to any interventions.
I have specific interest in treating those in healthcare professions, first responders, and anyone experiencing stress injuries.
I incorporate the following in my interventions:
- Medication management
- CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused therapuetic techniques
- Mindfulness practices
- Functional Medicine practices for diet and lifetyle
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and sleep hygiene regimens
